What does BESPOKE mean in the world of 1882 Ltd.?

We create bespoke collections for brands and businesses as well as individuals.

We provide brands and businesses with their own bespoke collections, working with them from design conception, right the way through to production. We work with a number of brands, including Jo Malone, Mulberry, Deborah Brett, Anya Hindmarch, Fortnum and Mason and Conran, New Art Center in Salisbury, England and Nobu in Los Angeles, California.

In line with our manifesto, all our ceramics are made in Stoke-on-Trent, England – after 5 generations of working within the world of ceramics we are fearless and will tackle anything.

Linley
We worked with Linley to produce two bespoke ceramic candle vessels. Collaborating with them from conception to delivery, these beautiful vessels formed part of a limited edition scented candle collection.

Jo Malone + Martyn Thompson
Bringing two long standing 1882 Ltd. friends together, Jo Malone and Martyn Thompson, we were brought on to realise the limited edition collection of scented candle and diffuser vessels by Thompson.

New Art Center
Working with New Art Center we collaborated with a number of artists & sculptors to create bespoke plates which are for sale through New Art Center.

INDIVIDUALS

For private projects we can work with you to create a unique bespoke collection such as a monogrammed dinner service.

1882 Ltd. have collaborated with a small group of renowned designers and artists to establish a design service that allows us to create truly bespoke surface decorations for tableware.

In consultation with your chosen artist/designer we will explore the design concept and potential direction of the collection; be it graphic language, colour or pattern. Two design options will be developed and presented from which the chosen design will be refined and finalised ready for production. The design will then be hand applied to each piece of Stoke-on-Trent made tableware.
