1882 Ltd. is heading to Design Miami 2025 to showcase its dynamic and boundary-pushing Icon Collection of one-off or limited-edition pieces: where design and art meet the brilliance of centuries of heritage craft skills. Each piece, showcased as part of the 1882 Ltd. Curio installation, has been hand crafted by master potters at 1882 Ltd.’s factory in Stoke-on-Trent UK and marries centuries-old traditional skills with innovative thought and modern silhouette, striving to push the boundaries of contemporary ceramics to be at once both a sculptural artform and functional object, challenging the material, the master potter’s expertise and the artist’s ingenuity.
